RESEARCH + DEVELOPMENT + INNOVATION
Research at the University of Seville is the basis of our know-how in landscaped facades. We are a spin-off of the University of Seville and we collaborate with the research group AGR-268- Urban Naturation and Biosystems Engineering (Naturib). Our first vertical garden prototypes emerged in 2007 from the laboratories of the E.T.S.I.A.’s Urban Naturation.
SCIENTIFIC BASIS
Our basis is research. Scientific knowledge allows us to develop vertical garden systems that integrate nature into buildings in a controlled manner with numerous test results. Our value proposition: to offer professional construction systems with high technical performance that guarantee the best results.
PATENTS AS A RESULT OF
Our Fytotextile® technology for green walls, as well as the rest of the developments, is patented and is an exclusive system of Terapia Urbana. Our systems are the result of the research carried out at the University of Seville since 2006, and of the experience and continuous development after thousands of ㎡ projects carried out.
SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS
The result of our research in collaboration with the Naturib group, translates into specialized scientific publications that delve into key aspects such as irrigation, photosynthetic lighting or the best types of growing media for landscaped facades. We characterize and measure the benefits they bring to the people and buildings where they are installed. Our research gives us the technical and scientific guarantees to develop nature-based solutions with high added value that green buildings and cities.
